p.s. when I reach 100 followers on Google, I will be hosting a Pretty Package Giveaway to celebrate... so spread the word!!

oh and p.p.s. what is your favorite character in the Alice books? mine has always been the Mock Turtle, as perhaps you can tell by today's collage and the title of this post. I suppose it's comparable to the way Eeyore has always been my favorite character in the Winnie the Pooh books... they're just so sad, you want to hug 'em and kiss 'em cheer them up. Hmm. Maybe my taste in men was more influenced by childhood fiction than by my father... interesting thought, no? ;)

  1. I first saw the 1903 version a long time ago and loved it! It really makes you think you are in another world because it was filmed so long ago. It displaces you in time, and I love that!

  3. the Cheshire Cat! & the fabulous thing is, I love him in every incarnation. The original illustration... in Disney pink & purple... and he was the best part of the new Tim Burton creation if you ask me. (well, aside from Alice's wardrobe... oh for that red curtains dress.)
